Meet as our ancestors did,... together, around a fire, connecting with other families in nature. Connection with the Earth and each other, connection to our lineage, to the Ancient ways, to how we have always lived, as a village raising our children together around a fire, weaving, singing, offering our thanks to Mother Earth.
Offered as a monthly session alongside the Celtic calendar, we invite you to step back into these traditional practices, welcome home.
Our Monthly Women's Circle. A chance for you to be heard, and listen, in circle. A chance for socialising, support, and down time, meeting with friends, and friends to be. Charged as a donation (suggested £3) Please car share if possible. Follow link to book your space.
Find Your Calm will introduce you to the science behind how and why we experience stress and anxiety in our physical, mental and emotional bodies. Together with the guides, you will identify your environmental, social and personal triggers; be invited to try a range of nature based therapeutic practices that will help you regulate, cope and manage triggers in your own lives. You will go home each day equipped with personalised tools and practices that you can use in your everyday life, leading to improved health and well-being. These will include bushcraft activities, primitive skills, breathwork, nature connection, EFT, meditation and mindfulness and more... There will also be lots of opportunities for socialising, connecting with nature and building those all important peer relationships which help support our children with their personal development. We pay particular attention to those who find joining in difficult, and/or who suffer from social anxiety. All activities are optional.
Both adult guides have just completed their 'Advanced Certificate in Wilderness Therapy' course with EQE Outdoors. Additionally to this, both guides have a huge amount of experience of running events/courses with children of all ages, inside and outside of the classroom, and we know this course will be a gift to all those attending.

For a special, never to be forgotten outdoor adventure, a visit to Fen Zen is something your child and their friends will cherish for years to come.
Wether it’s a birthday, to celebrate finishing exams, or marking a milestone in your child’s life, we’re able to provide a fun, exciting and educational outdoor party experience that they’ll remember for years to come.
Our childrens parties are delivered by qualified and experienced staff and are generally based around a bushcraft theme and involve den building and fire lighting.
With that said, we can tailor a party to your needs if you have other activities in mind, we have a vast range of skills and experience and can tackle most aspects of bushcraft and survival.
For a typical party we’ll introduce the children to the importance of shelter in the outdoors and teach them how to build their own from natural resources provided to us by nature.
For the fire lighting element of the party, the children get to try out lots of different ways to light a fire, from matches & lighters, batteries & wire wool, through to modern fire steels.
They will then gather their own firewood, learn how to set a up a fire to give them the very best chance of success, light a fire and use it to cook hot dogs and marshmallows.
We provide catering for the special day; in fact, the kids love to cook their own sausages and marshmallows on a fire they’ve lit themselves!
Our bushcraft childrens parties are held outdoors, all year round, on a beautiful 8 acre rewilded meadow in Denver, Norfolk.
We have a dedicated area for the parties nestled between the trees and bushes so that the kids get a genuine wild experience. Our children’s parties last for around 3 hours. We take a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 children at a party.
A half-day birthday party is £30 per child. The price is all inclusive and covers the bushcraft activities, refreshments, hot chocolate, hot dogs and marshmallows.
For more information, or to discuss options, please email us.
Wether it's a first or a 13th, we have the Birthday party that will suit your child! Tell us what you want, or pick from the pre planned parties:

For young girls approaching their first bleed, or having started, this rite of passage empowers our daughters with the wisdom and upholding of her community to embrace her monthly cycles and celebrate her connection with the Divine Feminine and Mother Earth.
After the intensity of the early year's of motherhood, a woman's creative potential returns and they are boundless with possibility. This wild woman energy can be harnessed and directed when recognised and carefully tended. A ceremony to mark this expansive time creates clear focus and intention for these manifesting powers.
Reclaiming the modern-day hen party as an opportunity to gather in circle and prepare for marriage in sacred and celebratory way. Weaving together ritual and practices that connect you to your desires and dreams with your special chosen Women.
A Blessing Way is a traditional ceremony created to support , empower and spiritually prepare the new mother for her journey of birthing and motherhood. Gathering in circle with your special women to celebrate your fertility and power and blessing the upcoming birth with prayers and positive intentions.
A ceremony that celebrates Older women and welcomes them as an Elder. To encourage and support them in sharing their wisdom with the world. Older women are full of wisdom and precious knowledge, experience and keepers of tradition. Honoring and respecting their wisdom is vital for their wellbeing and that of the community and the wider World.
Life is full of change. Sometimes that change is easy but sometimes it's more difficult. Whatever the change or transition you are facing, are at the threshold of, or have just endured, we can come together to support you spiritually and physically, with nurturing practices and ceremony.
